16.12.09 – Reclaim Power-Actionday.

On the 16.12.09 the climate-activists tried to get into the congress-center in different action-groups. The police stopped them very agressively and arrested many protestors, like they did in the days before. Again there’s a very detailed article in the german TAZ. Protestors arrested on fallow land near the Bella Center, in anticipation to be brought to the cages in the police custody. Police forced them, like in the days before, to sit handcuffed and in line on the wet ground.

A policeman pulling down a demonstrator of the „Green Block“ to the Ground, shouting at him „stay down there!“. He was trying to get on the fallow lands around the Bella Center avoiding the Police. Those seemed to be overstrained and reacted with batons, biting dogs and pepperspray.

The police also stamped on the press very rough.

A Leopard-Girl in the „green Block“, which tried to get into the Bella Center decentrally, is searching for an ark.

Protestors from the Bike Block defending the sound truck from the police, after they had raided it and arrested all the people on it. Briefly afterwards, the police attacked it once more and confiscated the Truck.
